Michelle performs valuations of closely held entities ranging from simple calculations to complex opinions in conjunction with varied matters pertaining to estate and gift tax compliance and planning, corporate reorganizations, “C” to “S” conversions, buy-sell agreements, incentive stock options, family limited partnerships, ESOPs, as well as stock-based compensation arrangements.  Assisted with litigation services including economic damages and lost profits modeling as well as assisting with preparation for testimony.

She has worked closely with legal counsel on various issues including Lost Profits analyses, Economic Damages Calculations and Shareholder Oppression matters.

Michelle received a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Accounting from Texas A&M University – Commerce and is currently pursuing a Masters of Library Science from Texas Woman’s University.  In addition to being a Certified Public Accountant in Texas, she is Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) and is Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) through the AICPA, as well as being an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) through the American Society of Appraisers.  She is currently pursuing certification in Fraud Examination from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (CFE).  Michelle is a Reviewer of the Sponsor Review Program (SRP) for the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy, helping to ensure that quality continuing professional education is provided for Certified Public Accountants within the state of Texas.  She has also supplemented her education with a variety of courses specifically related to valuation.
